From 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5th, residents in over 700 apartments across the GTA will be collecting food donations for the Spring H.O.P.E. Food Drive.
This is the 11th year of the Spring H.O.P.E. Food Drive which is the largest door-to-door food drive in Canada and raised over 108,000 pounds of food last year. Help us beat last year’s goal and raise 120,000 pounds of food for local food banks! If your building is participating, please have some nutritious, non-perishable food ready to donate Tuesday night when volunteers come knocking on your door. You can also donate online! To find out more, check out www.springhopefooddrive.ca.
On Monday afternoon at 2 p.m., representatives from The Mississauga Food Bank, North York Harvest Food Bank and (of course) Daily Bread Food Bank will join organizers Bonnie Hoy and GTAA president Brad Butt to celebrate the launch of the drive with residents of 11 Dunbloor Road.
