High school students can earn community service hours while giving back and making an impact in our community. The Take Action Project runs during spring break and each summer (July and August).
Students must sign themselves up for this program!
If you wish to volunteer with friends, please request registration forms for yourself and have your friends separately request a registration package, along with sending each other’s’ names. We will do our best to accommodate all requests.
Remember to wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty and absolutely no open-toed shoes. No sandals, no peep toes…even when it’s warm outside, we have lots of things in the warehouse that can accidentally run over unsuspecting toes.
Students under 18 years of age must bring Daily Bread Food Bank Parent/Guardian Permission and Waiver Form for Minors signed by a parent or guardian before they can participate. In addition, students age 14 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who will volunteering alongside them for the shift.
