As Toronto prepares to elect its next mayor on October 26, Daily Bread Food Bank — together with community partners including LAMP Community Health Centre and Scarborough United Neighbourhoods — is hosting Toronto’s first mayoral debate of the 2026 municipal election.
It will take place on Monday, September 14, from 7:00-8:30 pm at Daily Bread Food Bank (191 New Toronto Street).
Moderated by Daily Bread CEO Neil Hetherington, the debate will focus on the city’s top issues of poverty, affordability, housing, food insecurity, and human rights.
This is your opportunity to hear directly from the top-polling candidates and learn how they plan to make Toronto more affordable, equitable, and livable for all.
Attendance is free, but registration is required.
