The Harvest Hero award recognizes a local farm that has significantly alleviated hunger by donating fresh fruits and vegetables to those in need. The Harvest Hero has made extensive efforts to reduce food waste by redirecting surplus produce to low-income communities across the GTA.

A new award this year, the Champion of Change Award recognizes an individual or group who is committed to eliminating food insecurity and ending poverty in our city through strong research and public policy.
