Charity Intelligence has released its 2025 Top 10 Impact Charities and we’re proud to announce that Daily Bread Food Bank has earned a spot on this incredible list.
In addition, Daily Bread was recognized among the Top 10 Canadian Impact Charities, Top 10 Impact: Food Banks, and Top 5 Toronto Impact Charities for 2025.
Charity Intelligence creates these lists to help donors identify Canadian nonprofits making the greatest impact. Research analysts assess how each dollar donated creates the most positive change — measuring the real-world impact of every gift.
This year’s Top 10 Impact Charities deliver average returns of about 7 dollars for every dollar donated, compared with overall charity returns of about 1.5 dollars.
Alongside these top impact lists, Charity Intelligence also publishes a list of the top 100 charities in the country based on evaluations of five factors: financial transparency, results reporting, demonstrated impact, need for funding and cents to the cause per dollar donated. Daily Bread was rated a five-star charity, placing us once again on this annual roster.
