Webinar: Becoming a Community Champion with Nextdoor

March 18, 2022

Seeking a meaningful volunteer opportunity? Find out what it means to be a Community Champion.

We are looking for Community Champions who will rally their network to donate non-perishable food items, safely collect them from their neighbours, congregations, teams, coworkers, etc., and deliver food donations to Daily Bread Food Bank to be distributed across the city to neighbours experiencing hunger.

Join us and our friends at Nextdoor, the network for neighbours, for an information webinar to learn how you can take action and become a Community Champion.

We will chat with an existing Community Champion to hear how they mobilized their neighbours to make a difference in their community. We will also discuss helpful tools and resources available from Daily Bread and Nextdoor to help you organize a safe and contactless food drive.

Nextdoor is a global neighbourhood where people can meet, gather and share information.

By bringing neighbours and organizations together, we can cultivate a kinder world where everyone has a neighbourhood they can rely on.” Nextdoor
