The Junction Residents Association is inviting neighbours to come together by collecting non-perishable food items in support of Daily Bread Food Bank. The drive will take place on Saturday, October 4 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at CINTAS (3370 Dundas Street West).
With more than one in ten Torontonians now relying on food banks—twice as many as just two years ago—your support is more important than ever. Food donated through this drive will go towards Daily Bread’s Thanksgiving goal of 225,000 pounds of food, helping ensure families across Toronto have access to the nourishment they need.
We’re also looking for volunteers to be stationed at neighbourhood grocery stores, handing out information about the food drive and Daily Bread, and encouraging community members to donate.
