Purolator Red Bag School Challenge

Join the fight to end hunger and help provide emergency food access to families in your community.

The school that collects the most food by June 16 (proportional to its student population) will win an afternoon with an ice cream truck parked at their school. The school will also receive four tickets to an upcoming Toronto Argonauts football game, to be given out to a student. 

How to participate:

  1. Register your school food drive and request Purolator Red Bags and/or Daily Bread yellow bins to collect donations.
  2. Download resources to support your drive, including a flyer with Daily Bread’s list of most needed items, as well as a toolkit with ideas on how to engage your school community. 
  3. Request a pickup from the Daily Bread team or invite volunteers from your Parent Council or school community to deliver your donations to Daily Bread by Friday, June 16. All food donations must be received by 3:00pm EST on June 16, 2023, to qualify. 
  4. Watch to see if your school won: The winning school will be announced by Daily Bread and Purolator on Monday, June 19, 2023.
