CBC Toronto Sounds of the Season Drive-Thru Food Drives 

Meet some of your favourite CBC Toronto personalities at the Sounds of the Season Drive-Thru Food Drives.

Bring a trunk-load of non-perishable foods to one of two GTA contactless food drive locations on Saturday, December 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Toronto: Metro Toronto Convention Center, South Building Ceremonial Entrance

Brampton: Knights Table, 287 Glidden Rd, Unit #4

 

Daily Bread Food Bank logo

To donate food to Daily Bread Food Bank, you can: 

Drop off donations directly to Daily Bread’s warehouse at 191 New Toronto St. in Etobicoke weekdays from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. 

Order items online from your favourite grocery store and have them delivered directly to the Daily Bread warehouse.  

Drop off donations at any fire hall in the city or a partner grocer – just look for our signature yellow bins. 

Non-perishable food items can be dropped off at our main office and warehouse location at 116 Industry Street, Toronto, ON, M6M 4L8, weekdays from 9:30am – 3:00 pm. 

When dropping off food, please call ahead at 416-635-7771 x 0 to notify our staff of the time of your arrival. Bring your vehicle around to the back of the building complex and look for the North York Harvest signage.  

Food donations can also be dropped off at local fire halls and designated bins at participating supermarkets.

 Non-perishable food donations can be dropped of at our warehouse located at 371A Marwood Drive, Oshawa during regular business hours, Monday – Thursday from 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Drop off your donations of our most needed food and household items at The Mississauga Food Bank warehouse, located at 3121 Universal Dr., Mississauga, ON, L4X 2E2. FOOD BANKS ACROSS ONTARIO

Hamilton Food Share logo

You can drop off non-perishable food donations at Hamilton Food Share’s warehouse located at 339 Barton Street, Stoney Creek during regular business hours Monday to Friday from 9:00 am-4:00 pm. Hamilton Food Share offers contactless donation drop-off options both inside and outside of their building.

Non-perishable food donations can be donated at most local grocery stores during business hours, where they will be donated to The Food Bank of Waterloo Region.  Please look for the donation bin at the entrance/exit of the store. Access to The Food Bank is currently limited due to COVID-19, however, non-perishable food donations can be donated at Customer Service (yellow door) from Monday – Friday 8:30am-3:00pm at 50 Alpine Court, Kitchener.

You can drop off non-perishable donations to our warehouse hub at the UHC – Hub of Opportunities formerly known as the Unemployed Help Centre, located at 6955 Cantelon Dr. We ask that, if possible, donations are dropped off Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Donors can drive up to the delivery bay doors and are asked to stay in their vehicle while food bank staff unloads the donated items.

You can drop off non-perishable food donations directly at the London Food Bank’s facility at 926 Leathorne Street, during weekdays from 9:00am to 4:00pm.  Come to the back north west door past the loading bays.

Food donations are also accepted at most grocery stores in London.  Firehalls are not collecting donations at this time.

Food donations are accepted at The Banque d’aliments Sudbury Food Bank at 1105 Webbwood Drive from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Most grocery stores in town also have a donation box or premade bags of food for purchase as a donation.

To donate food to Regional Food Distribution Association, please drop off non-perishable donations to their warehouse at 570 S. Syndicate Ave., Thunder Bay, weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
