Member Relations Coordinator (Contract – 12 months)

The Member Relations Coordinator works with the Member Services team and is responsible for visiting each program within Daily Bread’s network to build relationships with our members’ staff and volunteers. They will identify any areas of growth potential or programmatic concerns and they will collaborate with the Member Services team to provide appropriate support to members as needed. Additionally, the Member Relations Coordinator will work to identify innovative or wise practices which can be shared within the Daily Bread Food Bank network.

Manager of Policy and Government Relations

As Manager of Policy & Government Relations, you will play a vital role in advancing Daily Bread’s mission to end poverty and food insecurity in Toronto.

Reporting to the Vice President, Research & Advocacy, you will provide policy analysis, insights, and advice to the Research & Advocacy team and government stakeholders to advance human rights-based solutions in the areas of income security, affordable housing, and decent work.

You will effectively identify and engage with opportunities to influence legislative, policy, and budgetary decisions at different levels of government, and will play a key role in drafting research reports and policy materials like our annual Who’s Hungry report. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.

Advocacy and Engagement Specialist

As the Advocacy & Engagement Specialist, you will play a central role in advancing Daily Bread’s mission to end poverty and food insecurity in Toronto.

Reporting to the Vice President, Research & Advocacy, you will coordinate public education and engagement activities to harness the collective power of our community and advocate for human rights-based solutions in the areas of income security, affordable housing, and decent work.

You will help inform, collaborate with, and mobilize our Daily Bread community, including member agencies, partner organizations, donors, staff, volunteers, clients, and supporters. You will also measure and track the success of our collective advocacy efforts to ensure continuous improvement and results.

Experience Optimization Volunteer (part-time volunteer opportunity)

We are seeking an Experience Optimization Volunteer to assess and enhance our non-profit organization's individual volunteer program. Last fiscal year (July 2023 to June 2024), 8,000 volunteers provided 123,000 hours of time to provide food for 1 in 10 people who access food banks and programs in Toronto. We want to ensure that all our volunteers have an outstanding experience.

Reporting to the Senior Development Officer, Major Gifts, the Development Officer, Individual Giving (Major Gifts) is a results-oriented frontline fundraiser with a focus on major gift donors contributing $10k+. This role entails managing a portfolio of donors and aiming to deepen engagement while raising funds for Daily Bread Food Bank.
