2020 Truck Pull Challenge Champions

October 1, 2020

On Tuesday, September 15th, Daily Bread Food Bank competed in in the ultimate test of strength, pulling a 20,000 lb. truck for 100 ft. in the fastest time!

The second annual Truck Pull Challenge hosted by Second Harvest at Downsview Park, was a friendly competition between local food organizations fighting to end hunger in our city.

After weeks of training and the help of our community, the Daily Bread Food Bank team won the 2020 Truck Pull Challenge with the fastest time of 14.94 seconds! That’s a record breaking time for the challenge!

We are so grateful to be working along side Second Harvest, Food For Life Canada, Kitchen 24, and Feed it Forward in the fight to end hunger, and can’t wait to come back even stronger and faster next year!
