CBC Community Cares Day

Join CBC Toronto on June 24 for Community Cares, a day of special programming with music, stories, and coming together in support of food banks across the GTA.

CBC Toronto will celebrate the resilience of a city and the people who are helping to bring us together, support our neighbours and feed our communities. We will also share stories of how we are changing, and who is helping us move forward.  

Here’s a sneak peek of what’s in store on this special day of programming in support of food banks across the GTA: 

• From 5:30 – 8:30 am, join Metro Morning with musical guests Adria Kain, Andy Shauf, July Talk, and William Prince. 
• From 3:00 – 6:00 pm, on Here & Now, our friend and Daily Bread volunteer Gill Deacon will greet musicians Hannah Georgas, Jully Black, Luna Li, Myles Castello, Tasha Angela, and Tim Baker.
