CP Holiday Train – Toronto stop

Date: Nov 29, 2018

Location: 750 Runnymede Road, Toronto - in front of CP Lambton Yard office'

Since 1999, the Holiday Train has raised more than CAD $14.5 million and 4.3 million pounds of food for North American food banks. Everything raised in a community stays in that community. In addition, CP makes a donations at each stop.

CP operates in over 1,100 communities, and their 12,000 employees are very proud of the Holiday Train program. They understand that hunger is an issue that can, and does, impact our neighbours. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Holiday Train.  Over the years the program has gained a tremendous following, and CP is proud to continue this tradition.

The CP Holiday Train will be making a stop in Toronto, on November 29, from 8:30-9:00pm at 750 Runnymede Road in support of Daily Bread. This event is free of charge, however, everyone is encouraged to bring a food or monetary donation for our neighbours in need. Check out CP’s Healthy Donations page for a list of suggested items.

Come with friends and family and enjoy music, hot chocolate and hear a few words of thanks from Daily Bread CEO, Neil Hetherington, as well as from Councillor Sarah Doucette. Please note that the stop lasts approximately 30 minutes.
