This fall we’re launching the fourth annual Purolator Red Bag Campaign in support of Daily Bread Food Bank.
On Saturday, September 24, our amazing volunteers will be in Roncesvalles, the Annex, and Danforth/Riverdale to distribute 25,000 empty red bags, ready to be filled with food for people experiencing hunger this holiday season.
Community members in those areas will have a week to fill their bags with our most-needed non-perishable food items, and volunteers and Purolator trucks will pick up the filled bags from doorsteps after 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 1.
If you miss our pickup deadline, you can drop off your bag with nonperishable food items at your nearest fire hall
