Employee Volunteer Program
Our employee volunteer program is a unique way for groups to gain a deeper understanding of poverty and food insecurity in Toronto, work together towards a meaningful goal, and be a part of the work we do to help ensure community members receive vital food donations across our city.
We offer interactive and enriching activities onsite in our warehouse including food sorts, kitchen help and food distribution. To learn more about our programs, please email Kristine Walkden at email@example.com or call 647-951-9386.
Volunteers help make sure food donations are sorted and packaged up to be distributed in a timely manner.
Shift dates: Thursday & Friday, mornings and afternoons
Group Size: Up to 15 volunteers
Community Meal Program
Volunteers help prepare and serve meals onsite in our kitchen for our Thursday meal program
Shift dates: Thursday evenings
Group Size: Up to 7 volunteers
To participate in our volunteer activities, a minimum financial donation is required. Your donation will support our programming and help strengthen our network of member agencies to provide critical food programs.
During your shift, your team will be provided with a tour of our facility to learn more about Daily Bread’s programs, the current need, and the impact of your support.
Note: our employee volunteer program is now fully booked in November and December. If you would like to add your name to our waitlist or book a shift for your team in the new year, please fill out the following:
