Employers

Employee Volunteer Program
Our Employee Volunteer Program offers corporate teams a unique and enriching opportunity to be a part of Daily Bread Food Bank’s day-to-day operations and help make a difference in the community.

When you volunteer with your team at Daily Bread you:

  • Play a critical role in helping ensure community members receive vital food donations and services across the city
  • Gain a deeper understanding of poverty and food insecurity in Toronto
  • Develop teamwork skills as you work together towards a meaningful goal

Throughout the year, we offer interactive and enriching programs onsite at our facility at 191 New Toronto St in Etobicoke, including food sorting and kitchen support. At the start of each volunteer shift, teams are provided with a tour of our facility to learn more about Daily Bread’s programs, the current need, and the impact of your support.

To participate in our Employee Volunteer Program activities, a minimum program fee is required, which is invoiced to you in advance of your shift. This fee supports our operations and the costs associated with the management of our volunteer program.
